DENVER — The Japanese American Association of Colorado, in conjunction with the Simpson United Methodist Church and Tri-State Denver Buddhist Temple, has scheduled its 71st Annual Memorial Service to honor Nisei veterans.
It will take place at the Nisei Veterans Memorial at the Fairmount Cemetery, 430 S. Quebec St. in Denver from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 29. Signs and volunteers will be present at the West and North Gates to help guide participants to the Memorial.
The guest speaker will be Donna Fujimoto Cole.
